This is a common roadblock for Iphone users, so make sure all settings are turned on for the GPS tag to stick to the photo uploads. Apple has hidden security behind uploading photos that automatically strips your location so that you don't upload GPS coordinates to any random platform or social media platform without turning all of the below settings on.
1. Make sure your Location Services setting is toggled to ON
a. Go to Settings, Privacy and Security, Location Settings (toggle to ON if it is turned off)
b. On the same screen, scroll down to Camera app and click on it. Make sure Location Settings is toggled ON and Precise Location is toggled ON
c. Go back one screen and scroll down to your web browser (usually Safari) and click on it. Make sure Location Services is toggled ON and Precise Location is toggled ON as well
2. Once all settings are turned on, ask member to take the picture again
3. If the question pops up to allow location, click Accept
This will allow Iphone users to upload photos with GPS coordinates to Borrower Portal tasks that include photos.
